Stampin' Up! Fox Builder Punch Fun

The Fox builder punch is soooo much fun to play with.  First up this post will showcase Heather Payne's beautiful card collection featuring the Fox builder punch and the coordinating Foxy Friends stamp set.

Heather's first card sees the fox in a woodland scene. The background was created using Woodland embossing folder brayered in Soft Sky and the trees embossed in White embossing powder - WOW

The Mushroom is just amazing and works well on the sponged DSP.  The next card is just as beautiful with the fox in a ring of leaves, part of the stamp set that coordinates with the Fox builder punch.  purchase both in a BUNDLE buy and save yourself 10%!

Heather has stamped the feature panel with "Lovely as a Tree"

Heather's third creation is simply gorgeous with the fox sitting up on the stump, water coloured back ground and a highlight of DSP as a banner and panel on the bottom of the card.

Stampin' Up! "Lovely as a Tree" water coloured, masculine card

Father's Day was a great day and many of my customers gave cards of love to their Dad's or made them for their children to give to their Dad's.  Today is another example of a nice simple Men's card using Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree (also available in WM)and water colouring the trees simply with an aqua painter.
A Crafty Cat: Stampin' Up! Lovely as a Tree
Once the water colour paper is stamped with the "Lovely as a Tree" image, inked in Old Olive,  I ran over the image with an aqua pen and carried the ink to colour the grass.  I used a little ink from the ink left on the stamp too.  I then stamped over the image again in Early Expresso to give the appearance/definition to the tree trunk and branches.

The water paper was then mounted on a mat of Early Expresso...

Then mounted on pre-embossed base card of Old Olive...

Add a greeting and you have created a quick simple masculine card!

No greeting, but use of retired Natural Chevron ribbon and embossing folder...

Lots of similar cards, using the same wonderfully versatile "Lovely as a Tree" on Water colour paper...

Stampin' Up! Wetlands masculine cards

This is a gorgeous layout for a masculine card, one I have cased off pinterest thanks to Amanda Bates.  I recreated the card in two colours, Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake and Pool Party.  I used Stampin' Up! rubber set Wetlands, (available in CM and WM) a wonderful little set with birds, reeds and scripted greetings.
A Crafty Cat: Stampin' Up! "Wetlands" masculine cards

I love the use of Designers Series Paper from the Serene Scenery paper stack by Stampin' Up! which  I stamped when it was on the base card.  I then matted the DSP and embossed it with the Seaside embossing folder using the Big Shot.

I created one matted on Night of Navy on a base card of Pool Party and the other is matted on Early Expresso on a base card of Crumb Cake.  I lined up the stamping so I maintained the continuation of the stamping...

Two different salutations, one for father's day (Teeny Tiny Sentiments CM), the other for Birthday (Wetlands CM)

I love the cards and how they turned out.  Isn't it wonderful how social medial allows us to share beautiful ideas!  Thanks again Amanda, my son has chosen the crumb cake version to give to his Dad.

Stampin' Up! Tag Cards

I've been having a little play with tags on cards and embellishing these tags with Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper (DSP), embossing folders, ribbons, stamps and dies... First a rose in neutral colours of Crumb Cake and Early Expresso...
A Crafty Cat: Stampin' Up! Tag Cards
The card is simply the base card with a 2" strip of coordinating DSP with a dressed tag mounted onto the base card and the greeting placed...somewhere!  This one has a little more colour and a butterfly die cut out of Calypso Coral Stampin' Up! cardstock.  A bit of sponging on the tag edges and this one is my favourite of all the creations today.

Calypso Coral and Old Olive - gorgeous colour combo...

Blues, Greens and Oranges with black accents...and of course that butterfly!

from a different angle...

I love versatile layouts and what a great way to use up any 2" strips of  DSP you may have left over from other projects and the little snippets to embellish the tags.  Quick, easy layout and very rewarding.
