Stampin' Up! Bokeh technique with Butterfly Basics,

To mimic the bokeh technique, first you have to sponge the background in patchy colours, then using a mask with random circles of different sizes, sponge white craft ink over the image.

The darker the background/more heavily sponged and coloured, the greater the effect!
